About Waleed

Hey there! Welcome to the Double U Blog.

Heya!

Heya!

I’m Waleed Zuberi and I’m a freelance web developer in Karachi, Pakistan. That’s me on the right, there. This site is my personal “blog” and portfolio where you can find and keep track of (most of) the things I do online. To the right, you’ll find other related things, such as recent posts from this blog and other places you can find me on the Web.

In other times of the day, I’m a student and a writer. I’m currently enduring the final stages of A’ Levels, but I have no idea what I’m going to do after that, so please don’t ask!

I got into web development in the 5th Grade when my Computers teacher had our class make a 2-page website with Notepad. After that, I made a simple site for my school using MS Frontpage, redesigned it twice and then abandoned it after I got no response from the school management. By then I had realized I loved making websites, and after doing a couple of more sites for some people, I set up my web design studio, Double U Designs. I take clients from all over the World and, occasionally in cooperation with others, offer a range of creative services.

You can take a look around this site, too! You can see some of the recent posts and categories to the right along with links to the archives. Subscribe to the RSS feed for updates and leave a comment (or two!) here and there!

Note: The header images you see above are randomized across the site. If you see an image that you like, just hover over it to see where I got it from. I’ve done my best to obtain permission from (or at least notify) the owners of the images, but if you feel there is a problem, please do send me a message.

If you wish to contact me, you can either use a contact form or you can also just leave a comment (see below) on this page – it will remain private, and nobody (except me, of course!) will see it. You can also reach me via Facebook, if you like.
